iMaXX Companies Code of Business Conduct
Since its founding, iMaXX Companies business practices have been governed by integrity, honesty, fair dealing and full compliance with all applicable laws. The iMaXX Companies business principles prescribe certain values and principles which iMaXX Companies has committed to. This Code of Business Conduct specifies and helps the continued implementation of the business principles by establishing certain non-negotiable minimum standards of behavior in key areas.
The nature of this code is not meant to cover all possible situations that may occur. It is designed to provide a frame of reference against which to measure any activity. All iMaXX employees, management, directors and subsidiaries are within the scope op the iMaXX Companies Code of Business Conduct.
Statement of principles

Responsibility of managers and employees
It is the responsibility of iMaXX managers to communicate and demonstrate the content as well as the spirit of the principles of this Code of Conduct. Explicit or implicit approval of actions contrary to it will not be tolerated.
iMaXX Companies in regard to government and law
iMaXX Companies and its employees are bound by the law. Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations must never be compromised.
iMaXX Companies in regard to administration
iMaXX Companies keeps clear and honest records. Government auditors will be provided with all information required to carry out their work. Accurate administration is required to permit information to be obtained and decisions to be taken on a well informed and responsible basis. This in turn ensures the longevity of iMaXX Companies and its partners.
iMaXX Companies in regard to conflicts of interest
A conflict of interest occurs when personal interests of an employee or the interests of a third party compete with the interests of iMaXX Companies. In such a situation, it can be difficult for the employee to act fully in the best interests of iMaXX Companies. Employees shall avoid conflicts of interest whenever possible. If a conflict of interest does occur the person involved will consult the management of iMaXX Companies for advice.
iMaXX Companies in regard to confidentiality
iMaXX Companies and its partners must maintain the confidentiality of confidential information entrusted to them, except when disclosure is authorized by an appropriate legal officer of iMaXX Companies or is required by laws or regulations. Confidential information includes all non-public information that might be of use to competitors or harmful to iMaXX Companies or its partners if disclosed. It also includes information that partners (suppliers and customers) have entrusted to iMaXX Companies. The obligation to preserve confidential information continues even after employment ends.
iMaXX Companies in regard to employees
iMaXX Companies respects the personal dignity, privacy and personal rights of every employee and is committed to maintaining a workplace free from discrimination and harassment. Therefore, employees must not discriminate on the basis of origin, nationality, religion, race, gender, age or sexual orientation, or engage in any kind of verbal or physical harassment based on any of the above or any other reason. iMaXX Companies will provide a safe work environment minimizing the risk of harm to employees. If training is required iMaXX Companies will arrange for schooling or training without cost to the employee.
iMaXX Companies in regard to business relations
Covered parties shall behave honestly and ethically at all times and with all people. They shall act in good faith, with due care, and shall engage only in fair and open competition, by treating ethically competitors, suppliers, customers, and colleagues. Stealing proprietary information, possessing trade secret information that was obtained without the owner’s consent, or inducing such disclosures by past or present employees of other companies is prohibited. No covered party should take unfair advantage of anyone through manipulation, concealment, abuse of privileged information, misrepresentation of material facts, or any other unfair practice.
iMaXX Companies shall select partners (supplier and customer) not just based on business potential but also based on ethical business practices. iMaXX Companies partners need to adhere to this, or a very similar, Code of Business Conduct. iMaXX Companies does not condone child labor and expects all business partners to respect human dignity. Under no circumstance will bribery, counterfeiting or any other form of fraudulent activities be condoned.
Supplying partners to iMaXX are required to adhere to rules and regulations with regard to substance restrictions and registration. These rules and regulations include, but are not limited to, RoHS, REACH and conflict minerals.
iMaXX Companies in regard to the environment
iMaXX Companies truly cares for the environment and guidelines have been set in the iMaXX Companies Environmental Statement. iMaXX Companies and its partners are expected to use common sense with concern to the environment. Although ISO certification is possible, on the whole it is more of a burden than an actual environmental help. With this in mind iMaXX Companies has set up its own environmental statement to show what is done to make our impact on the environment as small as possible.
